In 1998, Camp Attitude was nothing more than a dream. The property was covered with overgrown brush and unkempt trees and didn’t seem to have much potential for anything, let alone a place where people with special needs could attend summer camp and explore the great outdoors. Thankfully, there was a group of people that could vision a fully accessible campground with full amenities. It seemed at the time to be a herculean task because it would require countless hours of volunteer work, donations of material, and intense fundraising.
In 2000, Camp Attitude became a reality. Our 39-acre campus includes 12 RV spots, 6 full cabins, 4 yurts, fully accessible bathing facilities, two-story staff house, multipurpose room, industrial kitchen, pavilion, over 2 miles of paved trails, fishing pond, and more.
Today, many of the facilities have been upgraded and Camp Attitude has become a premiere campground. We welcome you to look around our website, contact us directly with questions, or visit our facilities in person.
Camp Attitude is a special place where we’re committed to “changing lives one camper at a time”. Awesome!
